World IPv6 Launch is a commitment by leaders from across the Internet industry to implement IPv6 in their products and services by 6 June 2012.

This effort directly builds on the success of last year's World IPv6 Day organized by the Internet Society, which demonstrated through a 24-hour "test flight" that IPv6 is ready for production deployment. We expect this year's World IPv6 Launch to be an equally important--and successful--milestone in the global deployment of IPv6 because of the signifiant commitment participants are making.

In short, we are looking forward to generating even more energy, enthusiasm and progress in the deployment of IPv6 in Malaysia to be shared globally.
