THE INTERNET IS FOR EVERYONE
ISOC-MY together with IMPACT organized a 1-day ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) awareness workshop on 12th April 2011 at IMPACT's auditorium in Cyberjaya. The event was a big success with participants from various government agencies, private sectors and academia.
The aim of the workshop was to promote awareness on the requirements of ISO 27001:2005 for ISMS establishment, implementation, operation, monitoring, review, maintenance and improvement; and an insight into the emerging ISO 27000 series of standards. The course is designed to familiarize participants with the ISMS requirements and its many benefits for the company to comply with these requirements.
